Ibis Budapest Vaci ut is situated on the Pest side of Budapest, near the Western Railway Station, at the junction of Vaci ut and Dozsa Gyorgy ut and at the „Dozsa Gyorgy ut” stop of undergound M3.
Last renovation was in 2001.
Access:
By train: From the East and South Railway Stations take underground M2 then M3 to Dozsa Gyorgy ut. From the West Railway Station by underground M3 to Dozsa Gyorgy ut.
By car: Most easily accessible from Vienna, M1-M7, follow the sign of direction M3, then at Heroes’ square (Hősök tere) turn to the left. From motorway 2 follow the sign of M3 towards Heroes’ square, then turn to the right. There is a parking place for 50 cars.
By public transport: Take underground M3 or trolley No.75 or 79 to Dozsa Gyorgy ut.

Sights of Budapest - 2010-09-05
Budapest, lying on both banks of the Danube, is a city which offers many historical and cultural sights.
The two banks of the Danube from Margaret Island to Gellert Hill, the Buda Castle Quarter, the Andrássy út and its historical environment are all the part of the World Heritage.
Some of the outstanding buildings are the Opera House, the Ballet Institute, and the Music Academy. Under the street there is the Millenium Underground Railway, which was the first on the continent. Andrássy út leads to Heroes’ Square. The statues of outstanding Hungarian rulers and leaders stand in the semicircular colonnade. On the two sides of the square there are the Museum of Fine Arts and the Art Gallery.

The fine hotel with a wonderful atmosphere and the walking on my last day made my stay unforgettable in Budapest. Thanks for the many information of your website. It was a wonderful experience to walk over the Chain Bridge and to admire some interesting views of the lightened Buda Castle, the Gellert Hill and the Liberty Statue.
